The Minnesota Restaurant Association (MRA)

helps the industry thrive by providing:

The MRA has served the needs of the restaurant and foodservice industry since 1933. In 1958, the MRA decided there was much to gain by joining forces and working collectively with two other hospitality organizations...the Minnesota Lodging Association and the Minnesota Resort & Campground Association. Together they created a management company, known today as Hospitality Minnesota.

Under this unique structure, each association retains its own mission, brand identity, budget and Board of Directors, but enjoys commonality of staff and office space. The MRA owns 50% of the stock in Hospitality Minnesota with the MLA and MRCA owning the remaining 50% of the stock, split at 25% each.

Hospitality Minnesota can speak at the Legislature as the voice of the hospitality industry, representing nearly 3,000 businesses from all across the state. The coalition also collectively offers ServSafe® food manager certification, the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation, Hospitality & Tourism Day at the Capitol, the Hospitality Political Action Committee (HOPAC) and the Hospitality Minnesota Conference & Expo.
