Election of Officers and Directors

10-10:30 am via Zoom

Join us for the first ever Hospitality Minnesota Annual Meeting. In thirty short minutes, we'll celebrate eight departing Directors, vote on the 2021 Board of Directors and take a few moments to reflect on this extraordinary year and look ahead to how we'll build on the solidarity and serve as the essential resource for your business.

This is a free member-only meeting and Zoom registration is required.

Election of Officers and Directors

As a dimension of the merger, the “First Board” of the new Association was comprised of directors that had been serving on one of the three previous association boards. All were elected to serve for the 2020 calendar year, with the understanding that one-third would roll off and the remaining would be assigned one-and two-year terms to complete their service. Newly elected Directors will serve three-year terms.

As a result, this year's slate includes the entire Board of Directors, including eight individuals vetted through a formal nominations process, conducted during October and November. Officers will also be approved by membership vote.

Our thanks to the Nominating and Governance Committee, chaired by JJ Haywood (Pizza Lucé), and including Howard Anderson (ZMC Hotels), Cathy Bovard (D'Amico and Partners), Joe DeRose (Riverside Resort), Marianna Khauv (Best Western Plus Chelsea Hotel, Monticello) and Tony Boen (Grandmas Restaurant Company).

A single representative of each general member is eligible to vote during the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 10-10:30am, via Zoom.
