After six months of positive jobs growth in 2022, August saw a reduction of 1,365 jobs in hospitality according to new data from the Department of Employment and Economic Development. This represents 15% of the 9,346 jobs reduction statewide last month. The industry is currently down 22,934 workers from pre-pandemic levels, as workforce continues to be one of the top challenges facing recovery.
