Last week, a bill providing closed captioning service was introduced by Representative Brian Daniels. The bill prohibits not providing deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals or a class of deaf or heard-of-hearing individuals with closed-captioned television when television services are provided to other individuals. At this time, there is not a Senate companion.
